YPF Recognized by Artificial Intelligence System for Optimizing Crude Blending

YPF received two international recognitions from the World Refining Association for an artificial intelligence-based development applied to oil processing.

The tool allows real-time adjustment of the blending, that is, the combination of different crude oils used as feedstock for a refinery. The system aims to optimize this composition during operation.

The distinctions were presented at the framework of the downstream industry excellence awards, which brings together initiatives linked to refining and other processes following hydrocarbon extraction.

The recognition highlights the incorporation of artificial intelligence in a central stage of refining operations and the development of solutions aimed at improving the management of petroleum streams processed by YPF.
