YPF Expands Mining Services Offering with Diesel 10 Minero

YPF presented at Argentina Mining Salta 2026 its services proposal for the mining sector, focusing on the commercial availability of Diesel 10 Minero, a fuel engineered for high-altitude operations and extreme temperature conditions.
The product features ultra-low sulfur content and contains no biocomponents. According to the company, its formulation is designed to maintain equipment performance and ensure operational continuity in remote areas with demanding conditions.
The strategy also includes a comprehensive logistics hub in San Antonio de los Cobres, identified as a key location for mining development in northwestern Argentina. The complex features a modular YPF service station, a supply plant oriented toward mining operations, and a yard for loading, unloading, and equipment and supplies handling.
During the event, YPF Luz presented electricity supply alternatives including renewable energy contracts, on-site generation, and infrastructure tailored to each project. Meanwhile, YPF Gas showcased solutions for remote operations, offering LPG supply, logistics, infrastructure, and technical support.
The offering is completed with high-performance lubricants, specialized support, and predictive maintenance tools aimed at improving equipment productivity and reducing operational costs. The company noted it holds more than 90% of the mining fuel market and maintains presence in the country's leading projects.
