YMAD approved US$22 million in dividends for 2025

The Board of Directors of Yacimientos Mineros de Agua de Dionisio (YMAD) unanimously approved the distribution of US$22 million in dividends corresponding to the 2025 fiscal year. The decision was made during a meeting held on June 25 and adds to the US$13.8 million distributed for the previous fiscal year.

Under the new institutional framework, Catamarca and the Universidad Nacional de Tucumán (UNT) remain as the company's sole shareholders. YMAD's leadership linked the results to management focused on improving efficiency, workforce performance and in-house production at the Farallón Negro mine.

The company operates the underground deposit located in the Belén department, where it extracts and processes ore through leaching to obtain gold and silver equivalents. According to the information released, production exceeds 60 kilograms per month of gold and silver equivalents.

YMAD noted that the positive results allow it to sustain investments, fund new exploration work and distribute profits. Campaigns carried out in recent years have extended Farallón Negro's projected mine life by at least 13 years.

The company also reported that, in recent periods, it allocated resources to infrastructure, hospitals, provincial roads and social housing in Catamarca. The bylaws update was finalized as part of the institutional adjustment process launched in 2024, following changes driven by the national government.

In parallel, YMAD representatives held an institutional meeting with members of Banco Santander and the Consejo Federal de Inversiones during a visit to Catamarca province.
