Vicuña Measured Economic and Social Impact Before Production Launch

Vicuña Corp. presented a sustainability report with the main economic, social, and environmental results of the project during 2025, still in the development stage and before the commencement of production.

According to the report, the company distributed US$318 million throughout the year and worked with 580 Argentine suppliers. The survey seeks to demonstrate the economic activity generated by the initiative before its eventual operational start.

On the social front, Vicuña allocated US$1.94 million to community investment. The report also includes information on employment, supplier development, and environmental management, although the disclosed data do not detail the number of jobs created.

During 2026, the project obtained approval to enter the Incentive Regime for Large Investments (RIGI) and advanced with new infrastructure works.

Additionally, the exploration campaign at Filo del Sol includes 55,500 meters of drilling. The Vicuña project is linked to the development of mining resources in that area.
