SECCO commissions 7 MW solar park in Corrientes

SECCO began commercial operation of the Bella Vista Photovoltaic Solar Park, in the province of Corrientes, with an installed capacity of 7 MW. Authorization was granted by CAMMESA and the project officially came online on July 1, 2026.
The plant is now fully operational and is feeding renewable generation into the provincial power grid. It also became the first project awarded under the RenMDI tender to enter service in Corrientes and the second nationwide.
In parallel, the 20 MW Esquina Solar Park is in the final stage of construction. Civil works and commissioning and injection tests have already been completed, while the connection power line still needs to be finished to obtain final commercial authorization.
Once both projects are operational, they will jointly contribute 27 MW of renewable capacity to the Corrientes power grid. According to Matías Gómez, SECCO's commercial manager for power generation, progress on the works made it possible to commission Bella Vista and bring Esquina close to startup.
Both projects were awarded under RenMDI, a tender process led by CAMMESA, and are fully financed with SECCO's own capital. The company noted that the initiatives aim to expand and diversify Corrientes' energy matrix.
