San Juan Opens 17 Paid Internship Positions in Mining
The San Juan Mining Ministry launched a call that could be a key entry point for students at the National University of San Juan (UNSJ): 17 positions for paid professional internships, with a 12-month duration and applications open until September 7.
An opportunity to work in mining
Far from being limited to technical careers directly linked to extractive activity, the call covers a broad range of specialties: mining and geosciences, economic sciences, administration, law, chemistry, geography, information systems, and industrial engineering, among others. The vacancies are distributed among three strategic areas of the provincial ministry—the Technical Secretariat, the Secretariat for Environmental Management and Mining Control, and the Secretariat for Sustainable Mining Development—which gives a clear picture of the variety of profiles currently demanded by public mining management.

Applications are submitted exclusively through the Professional Internship Platform in Public Administration (https://ppap.sanjuan.gob.ar/postulaciones), where you can also find details on eligible careers, planned tasks, and vacancies by area.
An important note: the process requires having an active Digital Citizen account, as the platform uses that identification to manage access and complete the application. Those who don't yet have one will need to create it before proceeding with their application.
