San Juan opens 7th AI Literacy course

The Secretariat of Science, Technology and Innovation of the Government of San Juan announced the opening of registration for the seventh cohort of the course "AI Literacy," which will offer 1,000 slots for the community.

The initiative is part of the agreement the provincial government maintains with Eidos Global, a partnership that has already enabled the training of more than 1,400 San Juan residents over 16 years of age through previous editions.

The course is free, 100% virtual and aimed at people over 16 years of age from across the province, with no prior knowledge required. The content covered includes fundamentals of artificial intelligence, prompt engineering, ethical use of AI in daily life, and tools for professional productivity.

Regarding the course format, previous editions included a total duration of 10 hours spread over 3 weeks, with 4 synchronous online hours (2 hours per week) and 6 asynchronous hours to be completed on the day and time chosen by each participant, with a deadline.

Start date

The seventh cohort of AI Literacy begins on Monday, September 14. This course will have a total duration of 10 hours spread over 3 weeks. Those hours are distributed as 4 synchronous online hours (2 hours per week) and 6 asynchronous hours (on a day and time of choice, with a deadline). Classes end on Friday, October 2.
