The Government of Río Negro and Patagonia Gold signed an agreement to resume and normalize activities at the Calcatreu mine, following a temporary halt to operations.
The agreement was signed this Thursday and establishes new conditions for the operational continuity of the project located in the province. Among the commitments made is the addition of 30 workers.
The restart comes as part of provincial efforts aimed at resolving the situation at Calcatreu and allowing Patagonia Gold to resume operations.
The agreement seeks to streamline the mine's operations and provide continuity to a project that had temporarily suspended its activities.
