Government Postpones Fuel Tax Updates Until November
By Comunicaciones Mineras

The Government decided to further postpone the update of taxes applied to liquid fuels and carbon dioxide. The increases, which were set to take effect on October 1st, have been moved to November.
The measure applies to both gasoline and diesel, keeping the planned tax burden on both fuels unchanged during October.
With this decision, the Executive seeks to contain the impact of the tax update on pump prices and avoid an additional increase linked to these levies.
The postponement adds to previous similar decisions and leaves for November the application of pending increases in taxes on liquid fuels and carbon dioxide.
