Neuquén Prepares New Tender for Gas Areas in Vaca Muerta

Neuquén province is preparing a new licensing round for hydrocarbon areas within the gas window of Vaca Muerta. The announcement was made by the governor, although details on the process timeline have not yet been released.

The tender will be oriented toward the development of gas resources in the Neuquén formation, one of the country's main unconventional assets. For now, the areas to be included or the conditions for submission of bids have not been specified either.
