Mendoza to Host Energy and Mining Summit with Cornejo and YPF CEO
The Shale24-Santander Mendoza Energy Summit 2026 will establish itself as the primary forum for decision-makers in Argentina's energy sector, with a full-day program scheduled for Friday, September 18, 2026 at the Hilton Hotel in Mendoza.
The summit will feature confirmed participation from Governor Alfredo Cornejo and YPF President and CEO Horacio MarÃn. It will be co-organized by Shale24 —an information platform—, Santander, and the Mendoza Government.
Thematic Agenda and Debate Areas
The event will address energy and mining as drivers for reconfiguring the nation's energy matrix. The structure will include high-level panels, networking spaces, coffee breaks, and relationship-building lunch.
Central topics include Vaca Muerta, with emphasis on exploration advances and resource characterization of the unconventional play in southern Mendoza, as well as investments in strategic areas such as Paso de las Bardas Norte, CN VII A, Cañadón Amarillo, and Payún Oeste.
