Argentina's Best Reputation Companies in 2026

Argentina's most admired companies according to the Merco Empresas 2026 ranking were honored last Thursday at Palacio Duhau. This year, Mercado Libre maintained first place for the seventh consecutive year. Founded by Marcos Galperin, the firm has an estimated valuation near $94 billion and continues to be a regional leader in e-commerce.
In second place is YPF, which leads unconventional oil and gas production in the Vaca Muerta region. The energy company is preparing to execute an ambitious investment project worth $51 billion, in partnership with ENI and XRG, for liquefied natural gas exports.
Third place was taken by Toyota, recognized for its dominance in Argentine automotive manufacturing. This year, it aims to break its own record with the production of 183,400 vehicles. Additionally, it received approval for a $1.34 billion investment project to launch a hybrid pickup truck.

In fourth place is Arcor, a company with 75 years in the market that recently acquired La SerenĂsima. Fifth place went to Natura, which, after beginning exports to Chile, continues to lead the direct sales system in the country. Banco Galicia, in sixth place, benefits from its recent merger with HSBC Argentina, focusing on sectors such as energy and mining.
The ranking also included Google, CervecerĂa y MalterĂa Quilmes, Santander and Ford, which celebrates 113 years in Argentina. Each of these companies reflects a long track record and strong commitment to local development, contributing to the country's economy through their investments and strategic projects.
