Jujuy to Host New International Lithium Summit

Jujuy will host the 15th edition of Lithium in South America on October 7 and 8, an international gathering that will bring together key players in the mining and energy industries across the continent.

The summit will convene governors, national officials, producing companies, project developers, investors, suppliers and specialists linked to the lithium value chain. Delegations from 25 countries are expected, along with participation from over 300 companies.

Thematic Areas and Agenda

The gathering will focus on analyzing sector evolution and expansion opportunities. Key topics on the agenda include investments in lithium projects, international price trends, the application of the Regime for Incentivizing Large Investments (RIGI), China's role in the global supply chain, and the adoption of new technologies for mineral extraction and processing.

Jujuy as Mining Epicenter

The province positions itself once again as a strategic meeting point to discuss the future of an activity considered essential within the framework of global energy transition. Jujuy concentrates a significant share of lithium operations in Argentina and is one of the most dynamic regions in South America's lithium triangle.
