RA-10 Expected to Begin Operations in 2027 Focused on Radioisotopes

The Argentine Multipurpose Reactor RA-10 has reached 96% completion and is scheduled to begin its startup before the end of the year. Operations would be fully completed during the first months of 2027.

The project will thus enter a stage oriented toward transforming its technological capacity into radioisotope production, with applications primarily linked to the healthcare sector.

The initiative also aims to supply the domestic market and generate volumes for export, depending on the capacity the facility reaches once operational.

To advance this objective, the incorporation of private investment linked to radioisotope production and commercialization is being analyzed.
