El Quevar Records Silver Recovery Rates Up to 99% in Flotation Testing

Argenta Silver reported initial results from its metallurgical testing program at the El Quevar project, located in Salta province. Primary flotation tests conducted on 15 representative samples from the Yaxtché deposit achieved silver recovery rates of up to 99%.

Two of the samples were also subjected to cleaning stages and registered recovery rates of between 91% and 96%. The company also noted that several samples showed rapid response during the flotation process.

The work is being executed by Blue Coast Research using samples selected to reflect the spatial and mineralogical variability of the deposit. The next phase will seek to define the characteristics of the final concentrates, including their silver, lead, zinc and copper contents, along with the potential presence of minor or deleterious elements.

Argenta Silver estimates that the remaining metallurgical program will require between 45 and 60 days. In parallel, the company continues exploration at El Quevar, where it reported more than 25,500 meters drilled in 89 drill holes since May 2025 and expanded the program to 45,000 meters with two crews in operation.

The project encompasses approximately 57,000 hectares in Salta and has Yaxtché as its principal mineralized asset, which hosts an indicated mineral resource of 45.3 million ounces of silver. The property also has internal roads, an operational camp, support buildings, and railway connections, gas pipelines and power lines in the vicinity of the exploration area.
