El Dorado Monserrat Plans US$346 Million Investment in Santa Cruz

Fredonia Mining unveiled the Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA) for El Dorado Monserrat, a gold and silver project located in the Macizo del Deseado, in Santa Cruz Province. According to the report, the initiative requires an initial investment of US$346 million and projects an operational phase exceeding 17 years.
The project estimates average production of 146,000 gold equivalent ounces per year throughout its operating life. Additionally, the preliminary assessment shows a net present value near US$1.5 billion, a metric that reflects the economic potential of the initiative under the technical and economic assumptions considered in the analysis.
El Dorado Monserrat represents Fredonia Mining's principal asset in Argentina. The PEA presentation marks a key milestone in project development, paving the way for deeper technical and economic evaluations that will determine the next steps toward a potential investment decision.
