CURSALA presents mining training platform to Mendoza Legislature and raffles scholarships

On Monday, September 28, at 9 a.m., the Mendoza Legislature's Auditorium will host the presentation of CURSALA, a training platform designed specifically for the mining and energy industry in the province. The in-person event will include a raffle of scholarships to access the platform's courses free of charge.

The initiative, driven by the private sector, aims to offer applicable training content delivered by active professionals. The goal is to align Mendoza's human resources supply with the current demands of mining, oil and gas—sectors experiencing growth and requiring new capabilities and specialized profiles.

How the event will unfold

The presentation will be led by Luis Varela, CEO of Indevra Consulting, a consultancy helping industrial companies improve operations and offering specialized training through Cursala.com.ar. His remarks will focus exclusively on the platform.

Next, two specialists will deliver brief interventions of two slides each:

• Mauricio Gnesi, electronic engineer specialized in instrumentation, control and industrial maintenance, with experience in EPC projects, oil and gas, refining and automation.

• Emilia Abate, engineer in Renewable Natural Resources and environmental analyst, with expertise in carbon and water footprint and environmental impact assessments. She will speak on sustainability and management.

The closing remarks will be delivered by Mariana Tissera and Melina Hidalgo, both human resources professionals. Tissera is founder of Esencial RRHH & Calidad de Vida and senior human capital analyst at Cofarmen. Hidalgo works in executive search and talent recruitment. Both will discuss the skills the industry requires today, with a focus on mining, oil & gas and other sectors.
