CAPMIN Organizes RIGI Business Rounds in Rosario
The Argentine Chamber of Mining Suppliers (CAPMIN) has convened supplier companies from across the national territory to participate in the RIGI Business Rounds, which will take place on Thursday, October 29 in the city of Rosario. The meeting, promoted by the Ministry of Economy, seeks to strengthen commercial and operational ties between supplier companies and mining operating companies in the Argentine sector.
The convocation represents a coordinated effort to bring together firms from different regions of the country and promote deeper articulation within the mining value chain, generating concrete business opportunities within the framework of the fiscal and tariff incentive regime that regulates investments in mining exploration, development and operation projects.
Objectives and scope of the Business Rounds
The RIGI Business Rounds are specifically directed at supplier companies interested in expanding their participation in mining projects and consolidating lasting commercial relationships with operators of varying scales. The Rosario meeting will serve as a platform for presenting capabilities, services and products that suppliers offer to the extractive industry.
The event aims to enable supplier companies from across the national territory to access information on specific demands from operating companies, learn technical and commercial requirements, and establish direct contacts that facilitate the generation of business opportunities in sectors such as services, supplies, equipment, logistics and specialized consulting.
Incentive framework and regulatory context
The initiative is part of the context of the Large Mining Investment Incentive Regime (RIGI), enacted in 2023, which offers fiscal stability and tariff benefits to mining projects that meet investment and job creation requirements. Under this regime, both operators and suppliers access preferential conditions aimed at dynamizing the entire value chain of the sector.
