CAMYEN Launched Public Platform with Data on 456 Mining Assets in Catamarca

Catamarca Minera y Energética (CAMYEN) launched a digital platform that consolidates information on 456 mining assets in the province. The portal incorporates geological, legal, technical and infrastructure data, with public and unrestricted access.
The platform enables users to locate each asset, consult identified minerals and review its legal status and development stage. It also offers searches based on geological potential, mineral type and other criteria linked to mining activity.
The system cross-references this information with infrastructure variables relevant to project evaluation, such as national and provincial routes, high-voltage transmission lines, energy sources, airports and strategic airstrips. Additionally, it incorporates regional development variables and socio-environmental criteria associated with ESG standards.
According to CAMYEN, the platform aims to facilitate analysis of logistics viability, infrastructure requirements and project development conditions. The launch was linked to transparency and open data principles contemplated in the company's transformation into a Unipersonal Stock Corporation.
The institutional presentation featured participation by Governor Raúl Jalil, Vice-Governor Rubén Dusso, Chamber of Deputies President Paola Fedeli and Mining Minister Teresita Regalado, among other officials and industry representatives.
The portal represents the first stage of a plan developed since the beginning of the year by CAMYEN teams of geology, IT and legal affairs. The company plans to add new functions in the following two phases to expand access to strategic information about provincial mining assets.
