Bai Tau Minerals Advances in Analysis of Catamarca Exploration Areas

Bai Tau Minerals, a junior mining company headquartered in Almaty, Kazakhstan, visited Catamarca for the first time to explore mining opportunities in the province. The meeting took place following several virtual discussions with state-owned company CAMYEN.

During the visit, both companies agreed to organize field trips across some of the properties in CAMYEN's portfolio that will soon enter public tender processes. The objective is to allow representatives of the Kazakhstani firm to assess the geological characteristics of these assets on the ground.

Bai Tau Minerals was represented by Kirill Zimin, International Business Development Manager; Atur Maryan, Senior Geologist for the Latin America Division; and Ilya Terentyev, Head of Geology. CAMYEN was represented by its Vice President, Gabriel Molina, and board member Agustina Lencina.

The engagement is part of CAMYEN's efforts to promote Catamarca's geological potential and attract new players to exploration activities. The state company plans to make various properties available through public tenders, with the goal of expanding knowledge of the province's mineral resources and generating investment opportunities.

The in-person visit represents progress in the relationship between the two companies and allows Bai Tau Minerals to directly evaluate the opportunities Catamarca offers. For CAMYEN, the participation of an international junior company adds external interest to its strategy for promoting mining areas and developing new exploration projects.
