Mendoza Promotes Itself as a Historic Energy Province

The Mendoza Government launched an institutional multimedia campaign designed to attract investment in the provincial energy and hydrocarbon sector through a video that highlights existing infrastructure, strategic geographic positioning, and public support for new exploration and production projects.

The promotional material positions Mendoza as the country's fourth-largest oil producer and accounts for approximately 20% of national refining capacity. The video includes aerial shots and ground-level footage showcasing active deposits, drilling equipment, operational control rooms, and the Luján de Cuyo industrial complex, demonstrating the density of operational energy assets.

The campaign displays strategic maps with animated graphics that outline the Cuyana and Neuquina basins as productive areas and identifies the extent of the Vaca Muerta formation in the southern portion of the province. Additionally, it includes views of the Andes Cordillera, highway infrastructure under construction, and transportation logistics systems, conveying operational capacity and connectivity for the energy value chain.

The central purpose of the material is to convey government backing for investments in conventional exploration, unconventional development, and tertiary recovery, positioning the provincial State as a facilitator of projects in the sector. The video is part of a capital attraction strategy targeting both established operators and new players interested in participating in the Mendoza hydrocarbon market.
