Argentina seeks to expand international scale of its nuclear industry

Argentina is seeking to reinforce the international presence of its nuclear industry, in a context of renewed global interest in atomic energy. The official objective is to expand the scale of technological and industrial capabilities linked to the activity.

In this framework, Federico Ramos Napoli, Secretary of Nuclear Affairs at the Ministry of Economy, held a bilateral meeting with Rafael Grossi, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).

The meeting took place in Vienna during the Agency's 70th General Conference. The meeting occurred as nuclear activity regains prominence in the global energy agenda.
